KipTom Dance Center is a professional school of dance. The studio is a non competitive dance environment offering classes in tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical, modern, musical theatre, hip hop and ballroom. We offer the finest possible training under the guidance of a highly qualified faculty.

The studio philosophy is to educate dancers on proper technique and fundamentals in the art of dance. The benefits of dance are important. Grace, poise and awareness of the arts physical and mental discipline are attributes that come with training in the arts. The staff works very hard to provide every child with an education, friendships and memories that will last a lifetime.

Studio Information

  • A $40.00 registration fee per family is required for all performing classes.
  • This is a non-refundable fee. If a pre-school student is not ready for dance class, special arrangements will be made.
  • Fee is payable at registration or can be included with Pay Period #1.
  • Recurring students can now register online! Students may call (716) 683-4326 or email us for their class schedule and then register online.
  • New students can come into visit our facilities and meet with faculty to ensure proper placement. Phone or e-mail us to set up appointment during open house.
  • Registration will be taken at our Open House, at the studio on August 17 & 24 from 10 am - 1 pm and Wednesday, August 14 from 6-8 pm.
  • Classes resume Wednesday, September 7, 2019.

An integral part of life itself, discipline is imperative wherever artistic activity exists. For the student to obtain maximum benefit from their dancing, and for parents to successfully view their child in dance performance, it is necessary that all follow the above listed policies.

Private Lessons: Solos, duets and trio lessons are at the discretion of the faculty. These lessons are based on the ability of the students and their progress in their regular weekly classes. Any one student applying for a private lesson must be studying weekly classes in ballet and must also be enrolled in a minimum of two classes. Applications are available at the studio.

Solo: 45 minutes - $325 Total Cost
Duets and Trios: 45 minutes - $190 Total Cost

Recital and rehearsal dates will be posted at a later date. Students are expected to attend recital and rehearsals. PLEASE NOTE: We have two shows in June. The students perform in both shows (except Combo I classes).

TICKETS:

$13.00 sold prior to the revue. $15.00 at the door the evening of the performance.

There is a $50.00 non-refundable recital fee. This will include 2 tickets for annual revue and 1 recital t-shirt. Payment is due February 1st. PLEASE NOTE: it is 2 Free tickets PER FAMILY not PER child in
family.

RECITAL COSTUMES:

One costume is required per class. No refund is given to those students that drop out after costume orders have been placed. Costume fee is $65.00 All payments are to be paid in full by the end of December.

Tuition & Fees

The following is a list of information in regards to the Center's rates and policies.

Tuition for the dance season is divided into 10 monthly payments (September through June). Payments are to be paid by the first lesson of each month. Tuition prices include all holidays. A $15.00 late fee is automatically added to accounts 30 days past due. 

Paying in Full: A 10% discount is offered for students who pay for full dance season with cash or check (Sept-June) by October 1st. A 5% discount is offered for students who pay by credit card.

Payment may be made by cash, check, or credit card; make checks payable to Kiptom Dance Center. There is a $25.00 charge for returned checks. Tuition is not refundable when a student withdraws. Classes missed for vacation, school, illness, musicals & sports season must be made up within a month.
